I'm relatively new to this whole "blogging" thing, so I'm gonna try and experiment a bit. Feast your eyes on a shitload of images...
For starters, let's go for the HISTORY OF PACTIO CARDS!
In the series, Mahou Sensei Negima, we not only had ourselves a harem, but we were given the chance to become POKEMON MASTERS....WITH GIRLS!!
The whole deal was a Mage - Partner relationship, where the Mage would gain the protection of his partner while the Partner would gain magic powers from the mage, to become stronger, faster, tougher, healthier, and best of all, gain an artifact which would show up on the card.
One day Akamatsu learned that his manga was going to become an anime so he set up several promotional CDs to help gain interest. And with these CDs came Pactio Cards starting with...
Later, the anime got released...And with it, several versions of the Opening Song, Happy Material, as well as three different endings. With it we got three more Pactio Cards, Ako's came with OP 1, Yue's came with ED 1 and Mana's came with the ED Finale.
Notice that Mana's Pactio Card is a little different. First off, Mana had her card done many years ago (which is why she's so young). And second, her Mage died which is why you don't see all the cool stats. It's essentially a dead card. Once the bond between Mage and Partner is severed, the card is useless. A mere shell of its former self.
